An internal memo issued by the Registrar, Dr. Abubakar Aliyu Bafeto, revealed that the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aliyu Usman El-Nafaty OFR, has generously approved a solution to aid staff members in managing school fees for their biological children and dependents enrolled at Gombe State University.

Under this new arrangement, university staff are now empowered to pay their children's school fees in manageable installments through monthly deductions from their salaries. The initiative aims to ease financial pressures and ensure continued access to quality education for the staff's dependents.

However, the memo highlights certain criteria for eligibility: the payments should not extend beyond a single academic session, and the scheme covers a maximum of four children or dependents per staff member.

To participate in this program, interested staff are directed to collect the deduction form from the Bursary department. Once completed, the form should be submitted for prompt action.
