Gregory University Uturu has received good news regarding the accreditation of its courses. According to a recent announcement, the National Universities Commission (NUC) evaluated 16 courses last year and approved 13 of them for full accreditation. This means these courses meet national standards for quality education.

The evaluation process took place between October and November 2023. The university now has a total of 57 courses with full accreditation across various fields, including Medicine, Law, and Computer Science.

Courses like Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and others in Education and Healthcare also received full accreditation recently. Some new programs like Accounting and Business Administration received partial accreditation, while others like Architecture, Pharm D, and Optometry got interim accreditation ratings in their first evaluations.

The new Vice Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu Prof. Mrs. C. U. Njoku, thanked the NUC for their work and emphasized the university's commitment to maintaining high standards. She praised the efforts of both students and staff for their dedication to academic excellence.
