Hon. Maren Ishaku Yobo Receives Excellence Award at Plateau State University
Hon. Maren Ishaku Yobo was honored with an Award of Excellence at Plateau State University, Bokkos.
On Friday, July 12, 2024, Hon. Maren Ishaku Yobo was celebrated at Plateau State University, Bokkos, where he received an Award of Excellence from the Faculty of Social Sciences. The award recognized Yobo’s notable philanthropic contributions to the university’s student community.
During the ceremony, Yobo also unveiled a new faculty billboard, aimed at enhancing the faculty's visibility and identity. This addition is expected to foster a stronger sense of belonging among students and staff.

In his address, Yobo extended a goodwill message on behalf of The Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Gabriel K. Dewan, who was unable to attend due to an official engagement.

Accompanying Yobo were Hon. Agbalak Ibrahim, the former Deputy Majority Leader of Plateau State House of Assembly, who also received an award, Mrs. Patience Ishaku, and Hon. Chief Bulus Mavolo, among other distinguished guests.
