A 400-level Agric student of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Hussaina Sani, 25, was violently attacked by her ex-boyfriend, Muhammad Abba Yahaya, allegedly due to jealousy.

The incident occurred when Hussaina was escorting a visitor to the main road and her ex-boyfriend approached her, questioning her about the car. When she dismissed his inquiries, he struck her on the forehead and eye, causing her to fall and bleed profusely.
