Kaduna State University Hosts Successful Quality Assurance Seminar on Theological Research Ethics

The Department of Christian Religious Studies (CRS) at Kaduna State University (KASU) has successfully organized a two-day Quality Assurance Seminar on Theological Research Ethics, themed "Understanding Theological Research Ethics in a Postmodern Society."

The event, held on July 16-17, 2024, at the KASU Library, brought together esteemed scholars, researchers, and professionals in the field of Religious Studies.

The seminar, graced by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC), Prof. Helen Afang Andow, emphasized the importance of ethical research practices and their implications in contemporary society. The event focused on the themes of Human Dignity and Sustainable Development, with papers presented covering topics essential to modern theological research.

Renowned speakers, including Prof. Solomon Ochepa-Oduma, Dr. Zachariah Takore, and Dr. Bulus Makam, led discussions on various aspects of theological research ethics. The Head of Department for CRS, Dr. John Ishaku, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and participation, emphasizing the collaborative efforts that ensured the seminar's success.
