The Kano State government has unveiled its intention to devise innovative strategies aimed at fostering the active participation of private organizations in advancing the education sector within the state. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to enhancing educational development through collaborative efforts with private stakeholders.

During the official launch of kiosk installations in 100 Secondary Schools, as well as the Games and Spelling Bee Competition among Senior Secondary Schools, organized by the Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board (KSSSMB) in collaboration with GHADCO Nigeria Limited at Government Girls College, Dala, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, the State Commissioner for Education, disclosed the government's proactive stance towards engaging private entities in educational initiatives.

Alhaji Doguwa highlighted Kano State's status as a commercial hub, not only in Nigeria but across Africa, emphasizing the presence of numerous private organizations eager to support educational endeavors. He reiterated the government's willingness to embrace private organizations and individuals willing to invest in various sectors, particularly education.

Furthermore, Alhaji Doguwa lauded the achievements of Governor Abba Yusuf's administration despite prevailing challenges. These accomplishments include extensive renovations and construction of classrooms, procurement, and distribution of teaching materials worth millions of Naira to schools, as well as the provision of over 60 high-capacity school buses to facilitate students' transportation to their respective schools.

In support of the government's efforts, Balarabe Kiru, the Ministry's Director of Public Enlightenment, highlighted the significance of collaborative initiatives like the kiosk installations and competitions in enhancing the educational landscape. Ghaddafi Isyaku, representing GHADCO Nigeria Limited, expressed the company's commitment to supporting schools and generating income through commercial activities.

The Kano State government's proactive measures underscore its dedication to leveraging private sector partnerships to elevate the quality of education and foster holistic development within the state.
