Kano State Polytechnic Inaugurates New Central Students Union Government Executive Council

Kano State Polytechnic (KSP) has inaugurated a new Executive Council for the Central Students Union Government (CSUG).

The ceremony took place on Monday, July 1, 2024, with the Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouq, FCA, urging the new executives to be responsible, responsive, and transparent in their duties.

Dr. Farouq charged the new executives to prioritize student welfare and revive sporting activities in the institution. He expressed confidence that their impactful activities would help solve many of the institution's problems.

The Deputy Registrar, Students Affairs, Sadiq Imam Wali, emphasized the importance of true representation and catering to the welfare of students.

The new CSUG President, Comrade Saifullahi Babawa, thanked the management and stakeholders for their confidence and reiterated his administration's focus on improving student welfare and fostering cordial relationships between student unions, management, and the state government.

The new CSUG Excos include:

- Comrade Saifullahi Abubakar Babawa (President)

- Comrade Sulaiman Abubakar (Vice President)

- Comrade Khadija Badamasi (Secretary-General)

- Comrade Ahmed Usman (Treasurer)

- Comrade Muhammad Ibrahim (PRO)
