KASU Strengthens Ties with Nigeria Police, Prioritizes Community Security

 In a bid to enhance security and foster strategic partnerships, the management of Kaduna State University (KASU), led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, paid a visit to the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Police on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

Prof. Musa emphasized the importance of collaboration with security agencies in safeguarding the lives of community members and reiterated KASU's commitment to building partnerships that align with its new strategic plan. He expressed interest in training KASU security personnel with the Kaduna police command and offered to enroll police officers in specialized courses at the university.

Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Yahaya Sahabu Abubakar and Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, C.P. Ali Audu Dabigi, commended the visit and stressed the significance of maintaining a strong relationship between the university and the police command to enhance security in KASU, Kaduna State, and Nigeria.
