Kogi State Polytechni 10th Governing Council Pledges Excellence

The 10th Governing Council of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, was inaugurated on August 28, 2025, with a commitment to consolidating academic excellence, innovation, and research visibility.

The Council, led by Chairman Barrister Sani Shaibu, outlined priorities to improve the institution's infrastructure, staff and student welfare, and partnerships with industries and professional bodies.

The Council has pledged to work in line with the state government's vision for education, youth empowerment, and economic development. The Chairman commended the institution's management for recent initiatives, including a Memorandum of Understanding with the Federal University Lokoja to commence undergraduate and top-up programs.

The inauguration marks a new chapter in the institution's history, with the Council poised to drive progress and excellence in technical education and manpower development.
