 Lagos State Government demonstrated its commitment to investing in education with the inauguration of Akinsanya Ajaloleru Nursery and Primary School in Oke Afa, Ejigbo Local Council Development Area. Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, reiterated the government's dedication to providing essential educational infrastructure to shape the future leaders of Nigeria.

The inauguration aligns with the THEMES PLUS agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's administration, reflecting the state's commitment to improving access to quality education. The school was built in response to the demand from the Ilamoshe community of Ejigbo for a public primary school in the area.

Dr. Hamzat emphasized the importance of the new school in easing the burden of long-distance travel for children in the ward, providing them with convenient and stress-free access to education while ensuring their safety. He urged the community to take ownership of the facility and maintain its safety for the children.

Mr. Monsurudeen Bello, the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, was commended for his innovative leadership, with speakers highlighting the transformative impact of the new school on the education landscape of the community. The school aims to provide an alternative to costly private schools, alleviating the financial burden on residents and making quality education more accessible.

With the deployment of qualified teachers from the State Universal Basic Education Board, the school has already enrolled over 350 students within the first three months of operation. Its strategic location is expected to enhance socio-economic activity within the surrounding community.
