Lagos State University (LASU) has announced that Professor Olufunsho Abayomi Omobitan, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) and a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Economics, will deliver the university’s 97th Inaugural Lecture. The lecture, titled "The Logic In Corruption and Development: Is Corruption Bad? Is Development Good? - Credence and Perception," is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 30th July 2024, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
