MAAUN Hosts Global Expert for Insightful Session on Navigating Multicultural Workplaces

As part of its ongoing efforts to implement Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) held a virtual expert session on October 12, 2024, titled “Navigating the Multicultural Workplace.” The session was led by Prof. John Walsh, Associate Dean at Krirk University, Thailand.

The event follows the MoU signed between MAAUN and Krirk University in July, focusing on cultural and research cooperation. Prof. Walsh provided insights into the complexities of working in multicultural environments, emphasizing the impact of cultural differences on workplace interactions. He highlighted the benefits of diversity, such as enhanced creativity, while addressing common challenges like discrimination.
