Meet Professor Jibrin Aminu, A Legendary Academic and Statesman
Professor Jibrin Aminu, a renowned academic and statesman from Adamawa, has left an indelible mark on Nigeria's educational and political landscape.

Born in August 1939, Aminu's academic prowess was evident from his early years. He achieved distinctions in all subjects in the West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE) in 1957, a feat that paved the way for his future successes.
Aminu's academic excellence continued at the University of Ibadan, where he graduated with a degree in medicine in 1965 and later earned a Ph.D. in Medicine from the Royal Post-Graduate Medical School. He went on to become a consultant, senior lecturer, and sub-dean of Clinical Studies at the University of Ibadan Medical School.
