Modibbo Adama University Mourns the Passing of Dr. Haruna Kefas Mavakumba

The Modibbo Adama University community is in mourning following the passing of Dr. Haruna Kefas Mavakumba, an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Mavakumba passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Dr. Mavakumba's departure is a profound loss to his family, department, and the entire university community. He was a dedicated scholar, valued colleague, and mentor who made significant contributions to the lives of many.
