He acknowledged the Assembly’s role in establishing the teaching hospital and appreciated their efforts in fostering peace in the state. The vice-chancellor also congratulated Jatau on his emergence as Speaker of the 7th Assembly and wished him a successful tenure.

Nasarawa Assembly Speaker Commends FULafia Vice-Chancellor’s Achievements

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has lauded Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), for his remarkable leadership and developmental strides.  

During a courtesy visit to the vice-chancellor’s office in Lafia, Jatau highlighted the Assembly's admiration for the progress achieved under Abdul Rahman’s administration. He underscored the importance of collaboration between the University and the Assembly to advance education in Nasarawa State.

The Speaker also congratulated the vice-chancellor and the University community on the presidential approval for the conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital. He prayed for continued wisdom and good health for the vice-chancellor and his management team.
