NASU Announces Plans To Participate Fully In NLC Nationwide Strike

The Non-academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) has announced plans to participate fully in the nationwide strike action being embarked upon by the NLC.

It would be recalled that Myschoolnews had earlier reported Plans by the NLC to embark upon a nationwide protest occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy by the FG, thereafter directing its allied unions to join the strike.

In response to this, NASU has now obeyed this directive as contained in its latest circular.

In the circular, the union called upon it's branches across the nation to mobilize its members en masse to play a part in the 'Total Strike action' scheduled for Wednesday, 7th of June, 2023.

The union however stated the strike would oy go ahead if the FG doesn't follow the directive of the NNPC on fuel pricing before then.
