The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has outlined its admission criteria for various programs:
Undergraduate Programs:
- 100 Level: Requires five O'Level credits including English and Mathematics. Specific faculties have additional requirements:
- Arts: Credit in English; French needed for French program.
- Management Sciences:Credits in English and Mathematics.
- Education:Credits in English and Mathematics; specific requirements for Human Kinetics and Health Education.
- Science:Credits in English and Mathematics; consideration for certain grades in Physics and Biology.
- Health Sciences: Five credits including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; additional qualifications for Nursing Science.
- Social Sciences: Credits in English and Mathematics.
- 200 Level: Requires five O'Level credits plus a National Diploma or NCE. Specific requirements for various programs including B.Sc. Economics, Biology, and Health Sciences.
Postgraduate Programs:
- Diploma:Bachelor's degree or HND with minimum Lower Credit required.
- Master's Degree:First degree with at least a Second Class Lower or relevant Postgraduate Diploma.
- Ph.D.:Master's degree with a minimum of 60% or CGPA of 3.5. Additional requirements include academic transcripts and referees' reports.

Applications are processed online at [NOUN's application page](http://nouedu.net). Fees are N5,000 for undergraduate programs, N7,500 for postgraduate programs, and N20,000 for executive MBA/MPA and Ph.D. programs. Payment should be made via the Remita payment platform.
