NBTE Grants Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Approval for Two New Programs

This development is expected to enhance the institution’s offerings and provide students with additional career-focused pathways.
Newly Approved Programs:
The institution has been granted permission to begin:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering Technology
- National Diploma (ND) in Library and Information Science
In a strategic shift to meet industry demands, two existing programs under the National Innovation Diploma (NID) have been upgraded to National Diploma (ND):
- Business Informatics has been converted to ND in Petroleum Marketing
- Paralegal Studies has been transformed to ND in Crime Management

Earlier, the NBTE had also granted approval for the following programs at Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic:
HND in Computer Engineering Technology
HND in Surveying and Geo-Informatics
HND in Artificial Intelligence
ND in Marketing
ND in Public Administration
ND in Environmental Science and Management Technology
ND in Banking and Finance
