The Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) has confiscated pirated books valued at over N5.7 million from schools in Enugu. The operation, led by NCC's Enugu director, Ngozi Okeke, aims to combat book piracy in the region.

During the seizure, notable titles including the Ugo.C. Ugo English and Mathematics series and the New School Physics and Chemistry for Secondary Schools were among those confiscated from school bookstores. Okeke noted that the operation coincided with the peak book season, when piracy activities are typically high.
