Damilola's academic journey began in Nigeria, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Industrial Mathematics from the Federal University of Technology Akure. Following her undergraduate studies, she embarked on an ambitious path to pursue a master's degree in Financial Economics at the University of Opole in Poland, where she graduated with a remarkable 4.90 grade point average.
In an interview with FUTA BRO, Damilola recounted her journey, revealing that she had earned her bachelor's degree with a second-class lower grade. Nevertheless, Damilola persevered, applying to multiple institutions. Her determination paid off when she received acceptance from the University of Passau in Germany for a master's program in Computational Mathematics. Her academic pursuits encountered an unexpected hurdle with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, necessitating online learning during her first year.
Undaunted, Damilola continued to explore opportunities, eventually securing admission to the University of Opole in Poland, where she pursued a degree in Economics Concentration for Sustainable Development. Her passion for economics grew as she delved into the subject, ultimately leading her to pivot from her ongoing degree in Computational Mathematics.
