He was rushed to General Hospital Akwanga but was tragically pronounced dead on arrival. His body has since been deposited at the same hospital pending a post mortem examination.

NSUK Law Student Brutally Murdered by Unknown Gang in Nasarawa State

A tragic incident has struck Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), as Mr. Baba Jazuli, a 500-level law student, was reportedly killed by an unidentified gang near Akwanga town. The incident, confirmed by Mr. Jibril Usman-Umar, a course mate of the deceased, occurred in the Angwan Mada area, adjacent to Akwanga, on Friday night.

According to Usman-Umar, Jazuli, who served as the Chief Judge of NSUK-LAW Court, was attacked and brutally murdered by unknown assailants armed with cutlasses, sticks, and a gun shortly after boarding a commercial motorcycle from Rinze to Rinze junction. The attack occurred around Risha village, where he was assaulted and fatally injured.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Nasarawa State Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed that the police received information about the attack around 5 pm on Friday. Police operatives from Gudi Division promptly responded to the scene, where they found Jazuli severely injured. He was rushed to General Hospital Akwanga but was tragically pronounced dead on arrival. His body has since been deposited at the same hospital pending a post mortem examination.

DSP Nansel assured the public that the Commissioner of Police has ordered a thorough investigation to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice. The Commissioner expressed condolences to the family of the deceased, pledging to support them during this difficult time.
