NUC Approves Six New Programs at Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of six new academic programs at Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of six new academic programs at Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State. The newly approved programs, set to begin in the 2024/2025 academic session, include:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)
- Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT)
- B. Rad. Radiography
- B. Agric. Agriculture
- B. Eng. Agricultural Engineering
- LLB Law
This significant achievement has been attributed to the visionary leadership of the former Governor Yahaya Bello and the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who have worked tirelessly to elevate the educational standards at CUSTECH. Their joint efforts have transformed the university into a hub of academic excellence in a remarkably short period of time.
This development further positions CUSTECH as a key institution for quality education in Nigeria, particularly in medicine, law, and agricultural engineering.
