NUGA Appoints FUTA Director of Sports, Dr. Michael Ajibua, as First Vice President
Dr. Michael Ajibua, the Director of Sports at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has been appointed as the First Vice President of the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA).

In a significant development for the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA), Dr. Michael Ajibua, the Director of Sports at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has been appointed as its First Vice President. This confirmation comes as a recognition of Dr. Ajibua's remarkable contributions to NUGA's development and his adherence to the Association's constitutional values during his tenure as Second Vice President.
Dr. Ajibua's appointment was communicated through official memoranda, highlighting his dedication to promoting sports within the university system. Additionally, the Federation of Africa University Sports (FASU) has appointed Dr. Ajibua as a Member of the Committee for Marketing and Strategic Partnership (CMSPSMC), a sub-committee of FASU. He is set to serve on this Committee until March 2027.
The Vice Chancellor of FUTA, Professor Adenike Oladiji, expressed delight at Dr. Ajibua's elevation and extended heartfelt congratulations. She commended his track record and expressed confidence in his ability to excel in his new roles, wishing him renewed strength to fulfill his assignments effectively.
