Following the tragic incident at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Zoological Garden, where a nine-year-old male lion fatally attacked Veterinary Technologist Mr. Olabode Olawuyi, the University's Vice Chancellor, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire, has ordered a comprehensive investigation.
The investigation aims to uncover both the immediate and remote causes of the incident, examining factors such as safety protocols, animal behavior, staff training, and supervision within the Zoological Garden.
