Orientation Camp Step-by-Step Guide for Corps Members

As new Corps members arrive at the NYSC orientation camp, they follow a structured process to ensure smooth registration and integration. Below is a detailed step-by-step guide to help them navigate the camp efficiently.

Upon arrival, Corps members are first directed to a post where all their luggage is thoroughly searched by camp officials. After the search, each Corps member is issued a tag, with the number on the tag indicating their sequence among those who have reported to camp.

The next step is to proceed to the designated hostel, where registration officials assist them and provide them with an oath form. Once registered, Corps members move into their assigned bed space and arrange their belongings.

Following this, they head to the main registration point to complete their registration. At this stage, Corps members are required to have their call-up letter, green card, and medical fitness form on hand. Additionally, they are expected to open a new bank account, necessitating their BVN for the process.

After the main registration, Corps members are directed to their respective platoons, which are determined by the last digit of their state code. In the platoon, they receive their camp clothing and shoes, which include two white shorts, two white shirts, a green belt, khaki, two pairs of white socks with green stripes, white tennis shoes with "NYSC" written on them, jungle boots, one crested vest, and a green face cap.

With these steps completed, Corps members are fully registered and ready to embark on their NYSC journey.
