Preshy Emerges as First Female President of MOUAU College of Natural Sciences

In a historic electoral result, a student popularly known as Preshy has emerged as the first female President of the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU).

The election of Preshy marks a significant shift in the leadership landscape of the College, which had previously never been led by a female student. This achievement mirrors the university's broader trend toward gender inclusion in 2026, following the recent inauguration of Prof. Ursula Ngozi Akanwa as the institution's first female Vice-Chancellor earlier this month.
