Professor Damian Tersoo Anyam Elevated to Full Professor of Social and Political Philosophy

Professor Damian Tersoo Anyam has been elevated to the rank of Full Professor of Social and Political Philosophy at the prestigious Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM).

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Prof. Anyam's illustrious academic career, spanning over 20 years of distinguished university teaching and research.

Prof. Anyam's academic journey is notable for his attainment of two doctoral degrees. He is a seasoned scholar with expertise in Social and Political Philosophy, and his dedication to scholarship, moral philosophy, and ethical leadership has had a profound impact on his students and the academic community. Under his mentorship, over 18 PhD and more than 50 Master's students have been shaped, leaving a legacy of excellence and integrity in the academic world .

The Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi, where Prof. Anyam serves, was recently renamed in honor of the late Governor Moses Adasu, a pioneer in the establishment of the university. This renaming reflects the institution's commitment to preserving its history and legacy while continuing to provide high-quality tertiary education .
