Skyline University Nigeria conducts Staff Training on Microsoft Excel

The human resources department at Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has organized a Microsoft Excel training for the operational staff of the university. The program was organized to upskill the staff on the essentials of data analysis and presentation.

In his opening remarks, the head of the human resources department at SUN, Mr. M. Yesudhason, said the training is one of the strategic plans of the university to improve the professional delivery of tasks by the operational staff. He encouraged the participants to further their skills even after the training session, which is essentially to motivate life-long learning.

The one-week session was delivered by the Dean of the School of Science and Information Technology, Dr. A. Senthil Kumar and Mr. Sani Abdullahi, ICT lab assistant. The participants were taught several processes for assembling data in organized formats, such as tables, charts, graphs, e.t.c.

In their various remarks after the training, staff appreciated the management of SUN for their careful organization of the training. They said the knowledge gained will be a life-long asset that will be used effectively.
