Teachers' Continuous Training Institute Conducts Statewide Needs Assessment for Teacher Development

The Teachers' Continuous Training Institute (TCTI), based in Cross River State, has initiated a comprehensive statewide needs assessment targeting professional teachers. The assessment, covering schools across the 18 local government areas, aims to gather inputs from 300 participants, primarily from primary and secondary schools, vocational and technical colleges, as well as persons with disabilities (PWD) in integrated settings.

Professor Taoheed Adedoja, the Director-General of TCTI, highlighted the importance of aligning training programs with the evolving needs of schools, both locally and globally. He emphasized the dynamic nature of the curriculum and the institute's commitment to adopting training programs that meet global standard practices while addressing local needs.
