Topfaith University Secures Full NUC Accreditation for Existing and New Programs

Topfaith University, situated in Mkpatak, Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has attained a significant milestone with the accreditation of all 24 academic programs currently offered by the institution. The approval, granted by the National Universities Commission (NUC), solidifies the university's commitment to academic excellence and quality education.

In addition to the existing programs, Topfaith University has been authorized to introduce eight new courses following successful Resource Verification visits by the NUC and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. These new programs, including Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing Science, and Public Health, are set to commence in the 2023/2024 academic session.

The announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Patrick Ebewo, during the third matriculation ceremony held at the university's campus in Mkpatak. Prof. Ebewo emphasized the university's dedication to holistic education and innovation, aimed at fostering societal growth and development.

Furthermore, Topfaith University underwent accreditation exercises for nine programs in the faculties of Computing and Applied Sciences, and Management and Social Sciences, receiving commendations from the accreditation teams. The university's teaching philosophy prioritizes student-centered learning and encourages research aligned with local, national, and global needs.
