TSU Opens Portal for Inter-Departmental Transfers for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, has announced the opening of its portal for Inter-Departmental Transfers for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a statement from the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) on 6th February 2026, the portal will be accessible from Tuesday, 10th February to Friday, 20th February 2026. The opportunity is available to returning students wishing to change their academic programmes.

Candidates seeking transfer to B.NSc. Nursing Science must possess a minimum CGPA of 3.50, while those transferring to other programmes are required to have at least a CGPA of 3.00. Students with poor academic performance who have been advised by their departments to change programmes are also eligible to apply.

Interested students must apply through the university portal and submit their applications after payment of the required registration and application fees.

The statement emphasized that all approvals are subject to the fulfillment of requirements and the recommendations of the Central Admission Committee. Deans and Heads of Departments are instructed to adhere strictly to the approved guidelines for inter-departmental transfers.

The announcement was signed by Dr. Ahmad Baba Muhammad, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & Research) and Chairman, Central Admission Sub-Committee.
