UNILORIN VC Congratulates Yusuf Ali on FUNAAB Governing Council appointment

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated the Ilorin-based legal luminary, Mallam (Professor) Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, on his appointment as Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

Professor Ali's appointment was announced last weekend, alongside 114 others, in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Didi Walson-Jack.

Describing the appointment of the versatile senior lawyer as well-deserved and very appropriate, the Unilorin Vice Chancellor said, in a statement issued on his behalf by the University's Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Kunle Akogun, that FUNAB "would definitely benefit a lot from his wealth of experience".

Prof. Egbewole pointed out that the new FUNAB Governing Council Chairman is on a familiar terrain, having meritoriuosly served earlier in the same capacity at the Osun State University.

While wishing him Allah's guidance in his new role, the Unilorin Vice Chancellor expressed confidence that Professor Ali would leave FUNAAB better than he meets it.
