The Vice Chancellor of University of Uyo, Prof. Ndaeyo Receives Beneficiary of the Law School Scholarship, appreciates the Governor for the appointments.

The Delegation of student leaders to the office of the Vice Chancellor. The current PA to Governor on Student Affairs presented his appointment letter to the Vice Chancellor as an opportunity of this visit to present  the Beneficiary of the Law School Scholarship, Mr. Udeme Ekanem to the Vice Chancellor.

Recall, Mr. Ekanem Udeme is a visually impaired student in the faculty of Law, University of Uyo who has defied odds to excel academically in the institution, and for his resilience was noted by the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno and awarded a scholarship to law school. The scholarship fulfills a promise by the Governor to support his education.

Beyond Udeme, the Governor has announced a 100 million naira intervention fund to support Akwa Ibom students living with disabilities in their education. 

The Vice Chancellor, who received a delegation of student leaders, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State for his thoughtfulness towards appointing Wisdom Emmanuel  his Personal Assistant on student Affairs, and his support to the community in general.

The Vice Chancellor equally reiterated his steadfast commitment to students welfare.  

In Wisdom Emmanuel remarks,He appreciated the Vice Chancellor for the warm reception accorded us. 

The PA to Governor on Student Affairs again, Commended the Governor of Akwa Ibom State for having the student's interests at heart. This interest is reflected in recent developments in the Students' community. Appointing a student as his Personal Assistant on Student Affairs and the Creation of the Intervention fund for Students Living with Disabilities signals his desire to handle students matters practically. 

As part of this delegation to the VC were the Personal Assistant to the Governor on Persons with Disabilities, Comr. Ubong Ikpe, NAAKISS Worldwide President, Comr. Ubong Ekwere, NAAKISS Uniuyo Chapter President, Comr. Blessing Essien, Comrade David Effiong and other Student Leaders.
