University College Hospital Ibadan Organizes Hospital-Wide Grand Round

The University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Nigeria, recently organized a Hospital-Wide Grand Round in collaboration with the Health and Safety Committee. The event was held on September 10, 2025, at the Emeritus Prof. Theophilus Ogunlesi Multipurpose Hall, South Campus, UCH Ibadan.

The Grand Round was organized to commemorate Health and Safety Day, with a focus on improving the health and well-being of hospital workers. The event featured presentations from experts in various fields, including occupational health, mental well-being, and public health.

Dr. Taiwo Soyinka, Consultant Family Physician, emphasized the importance of being intentional about personal health and practicing self-love.Dr. Victor Makanjuola, Consultant Psychiatrist, highlighted the risk factors affecting mental health in the workplace and outlined strategies for promoting mental well-being.
