University of Ibadan Opens Accommodation Portal for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The Student Affairs Division of the University of Ibadan (UI) has announced the opening of applications for accommodation in undergraduate Halls of Residence for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The Student Affairs Division of the University of Ibadan (UI) has announced the opening of applications for accommodation in undergraduate Halls of Residence for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Fresh and final-year undergraduate students can access the accommodation module on the university portal from February 17 to February 23, 2026. Applications submitted within this period will be eligible for hall allocation. Other returning undergraduates (non-final year) and postgraduate students will be allowed access at a later date.
Application Procedure:
- Log in to the Student Affairs portal at https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng/login and click the “Hall” button on the dashboard.
- Select “Hall Application” and complete the required form.
- Upload a recent passport photograph (white background, ≤1MB).
- Provide next-of-kin information, accommodation history, and any relevant health details.
- Returning students must confirm their Jaja registration status; fresh students are exempt.
- Click “Submit” to complete the application and check the Hall Allocation page regularly for updates.

Payment and Room Allocation:
- Approved applicants will have their status changed from “Registered” to “Accepted.”
- Hall Fees and Basic Hall Dues must be paid through the portal; Optional Hall Dues are at the student’s discretion.
- Upon payment confirmation, the status will update to “Paid” and room assignments will be made.
- Students must print their Accommodation Slip and Hall Identity Card in colour; room keys will only be issued upon presentation of these documents.
