The students of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Maiduguri, have appealed to the university administration to strengthen security measures on campus during the upcoming semester break.

In a letter addressed to the Student Union Government (SUG) President, Hafiz Mohammad Bello, the medical students expressed concern for their safety and security, as they will be remaining on campus for academic activities during the break.

The students requested additional security arrangements, particularly between afternoon and midnight, to ensure their well-being and ability to focus on their studies.

The letter, signed by Bukar Mustapha Bukar, a representative of the medical students, emphasized the importance of a safe environment for academic success.
