Usmanu Danfodiyo University Receives First NELFUND Loan Disbursement for 2025/2026 Session

The university's Bursar, through the NELFUND Desk Officer, issued a notice on January 21, 2026, outlining the procedures for students regarding their registration fees.

The university has provided two distinct directives based on students' prior payment status:

Students Who Already Paid Fees: Those who personally covered their registration fees for the current session are advised to apply for a refund. Applications must be accompanied by specific documentation:

Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Receipt

Students can typically apply for this refund online via the university's management information system portal (mis.udusok.edu.ng) or by submitting hard copies to the Bursary unit.

For beneficiaries who had not yet paid their registration fees, the university will automatically use the NELFUND facility to settle their outstanding balances. These students are not required to submit any additional applications for this matter. 

This disbursement is part of a broader federal initiative that has seen significant funds released to various institutions across Nigeria to support student education and expand access to higher learning without financial constraints.
