ABSU Adjusts Examination Schedule for 2023/2024 Academic Session
Abia State University has postponed the start of its First Semester exams for the 2023/2024 academic session from July 16 to August 13, 2024, due to unforeseen circumstances. Students must ensure they are fully registered and have paid their fees to be eligible for the exams. The extension allows lecturers and students more time to prepare thoroughly. In a recent development, Abia State University (ABSU) has announced a significant update to its examination schedule for the ongoing 2023/2024 academic session. The Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate, Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, disclosed that the commencement date for the First Semester examinations has been rescheduled.
Originally planned to start on Tuesday, 16th July 2024, the examinations will now commence on Tuesday, 13th August 2024. This adjustment, according to Professor Ogbulu, is due to unforeseen circumstances and aims to ensure a more organized and effective examination process.

The extended period before the exams will be utilized by lecturers to complete their course materials thoroughly.
