Philanthropist Adebayo Adeleke has announced plans to establish a N5 billion Supply Chain Research and Innovation Hub (SCRIH) at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso.

In a significant development, philanthropist Adebayo Adeleke has announced plans to construct a N5 billion world-class Supply Chain Research and Innovation Hub (SCRIH) at the Department of Transport Management, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso. This initiative, spearheaded by Adeleke, the Chief Executive Officer of Supply Chain of Africa, aims to establish the first Supply Chain, Research, and Innovation Center in Nigeria and the second in Africa upon completion.

During a courtesy visit to the acting Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH, Prof. Rasaq Kalilu, Adeleke expressed his vision for the project, emphasizing its potential to facilitate collaboration between government, academia, and industries in addressing Nigeria's challenges through research and innovation.

Adeleke underscored the significance of indigenous knowledge and the need to reduce reliance on foreign expertise, highlighting the center's role in showcasing Nigeria's research capabilities on a global scale.
