Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Announces Refund of Institutional Charges for NELFUND Applicants

The Students’ Affairs Unit of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has announced the refund of institutional charges for students who applied for NELFUND in the 2023, 2024, and 2025 academic sessions.
The announcement follows the lifting of an embargo by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), which has now approved further disbursement to eligible beneficiaries.
Affected students are advised to visit the Students’ Affairs Unit or submit their details via text message to 08061158757, including:
- Full name and registration number
- Valid bank account details
- Phone number used for the loan application
Students are required to comply on or before Monday, 30th March 2026, to ensure prompt processing and refund of institutional charges.
This directive is issued under the authority of Mr. Ibanga Nathaniel, Deputy Registrar (Students’ Affairs)/NELFUND Desk Officer, with copies forwarded to the Acting Rector, Acting Registrar, Bursar, Polytechnic Librarian, and all notice boards.
Students are urged to act promptly to benefit from the approved refunds.
