ANUPA FULafia Hosts Step-Down Training to Enhance Innovation in University Administration
The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Branch, has organised a step-down training to strengthen professionalism and capacity in university administration.
The training, themed: “Driving Excellence in University Administration: Navigating the Future with Resilience and Innovation,” was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences Lecture Hall, Adamu Adamu Complex, FULafia.
Seasoned resource persons, Mr Solomon Abue, Mrs Amina Garba and Mrs Samira Ahmadu, delivered insightful presentations, offering practical perspectives on effective administrative leadership, adaptability and innovation within the evolving university system.
Representing the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, was Mrs Helen Bello, who conveyed the University Management’s support for continuous professional development, commending ANUPA for its commitment to improving administrative efficiency.
The programme, also, featured the presentation of an award to Dr Abubakar Hassan Ahmed II in recognition of his selfless service and outstanding contributions to the development of the University and advancement of ANUPA, FULafia Branch.
Mrs. Joyce Awazi, the branch Chairperson, said that the training reaffirmed ANUPA’s resolve to equip administrators with the skills needed to address contemporary challenges and promote excellence in university governance.
