Babcock University has officially released its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening application form for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Babcock University has officially released its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening application form for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the announcement, the screening exercise is open to candidates who selected Babcock University as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The university fixed its minimum cut-off mark at 170 for eligibility into its undergraduate programmes.
The institution stated that applicants must possess a minimum of five credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO, or equivalent examinations obtained in not more than two sittings. However, candidates applying for Medicine are required to present results from a single sitting.
It further advised that candidates below the age of 16 years are not eligible to apply for admission into the university.

The management reiterated that admission into Babcock University is strictly through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry pathways regulated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Candidates who did not initially select Babcock University as their first choice are permitted to apply, but must change their institution of choice to Babcock University at any accredited JAMB CBT centre to complete the admission process.
The university also opened applications for inter-university transfer candidates, who are required to present their JAMB admission letter, academic transcript, and attestation letter from their previous institution to facilitate the transfer process in line with JAMB regulations.
In addition, foreign applicants are eligible to apply, provided they meet both the general entry requirements and JAMB admission guidelines.
The institution encouraged eligible candidates to complete their applications within the stipulated timeframe as part of preparations for the upcoming academic session.
