Bandits Kill School Principal For Resisting Kidnap Attempt In Kaduna, Abduct 2 Women

In a tragic incident, terrorists suspected to be bandits killed Mallam Idris Abu Sufyan, the school principal of Government Secondary School (GSS) Kuriga in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack occurred on Friday evening when the bandits attempted to kidnap him, and he courageously resisted, resulting in his untimely death.

The terrorists demonstrated extreme brutality by also kidnapping two women during the attack. Former Kaduna Central Senatorial District lawmaker Shehu Sani shared details of the incident, confirming Mallam Sufyan's death and the abduction of two women.

According to Sani, Mallam Sufyan lost his life while bravely resisting abduction, and the bandits succeeded in kidnapping two women in the process. Colleagues and friends confirmed the tragic incident on various platforms, expressing grief and paying tribute to Mallam Sufyan.

Aminu Auwal, a colleague, mourned the loss and described Mallam Sufyan as a noble and dedicated individual who chose to stay in the village despite constant bandit attacks. The colleague prayed for the forgiveness of Mallam Sufyan's shortcomings.

Another mourner, Manajer Deeni, highlighted Mallam Sufyan's choice to stay in the village despite opportunities to leave due to persistent bandit attacks. He praised Mallam Sufyan's commitment to the community, teaching village youth football, and striving to make the world a better place.

The tragic incident underscores the continued security challenges faced by communities in Kaduna State due to banditry. Authorities are expected to address the rising insecurity in the region and take measures to protect lives and property.
