Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has approved a budget of over N42 million to support the Nigerian contingent participating in the Nigeria-Malaysia Bilateral School Debate Championship scheduled for July 15-21, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This significant allocation underscores the governor's commitment to fostering educational excellence and empowering youth in Bauchi State.

The Chairman of the National Advisory Board of President’s School Debate Nigeria, Usman Muhammad, announced that Bauchi State emerged victorious over Ogun State in a rigorous final held in Abuja, securing the privilege to represent Nigeria at the international competition.

The Bauchi State team, comprising five debaters, along with a coach, judge, observer, and matron, will be led by the Executive Chairman of SUBEB. Their participation not only showcases Bauchi's academic prowess but also serves as inspiration to Nigerian youth.
