Bayero University Experiences Power Outage

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced that an electrical fault in the Power House, 33kv substation has caused a power outage at the Old Campus. The fault has damaged some equipment, including the transformer.

According to a statement from the university, management is working to restore normal power supply as soon as possible. In the interim, an arrangement has been made to revert to the former 11KVA Kabuga feeder.

Personnel from KEDCO are currently working to rectify the fault and restore power supply.
