Benue SUBEB moves to reduce education cost

The Executive Chairman of Benue State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Dr. Grace Adagba has expressed her commitment to making Public Basic Schools more competitive with Private Schools with the aim of reducing the cost of education for the Benue Child.

She also noted the positive impact of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s passion for Basic Education which she said is unprecedented and urged the people to remain supportive of his administration.

Dr. Adagba spoke when she hosted the Association of Kunav in Academics, a group comprising her former colleagues and kinsmen, from the Benue State University, BSU, Makurdi, at the Board’s Headquarters. 

In a statement issued in Makurdi by Emmanuella Akese the Information Officer of the Board, “the Executive Chairman lauded the Association for their unity and support emphasizing her dedication to ensuring a successful tenure with a pledge to represent her constituency well and fulfill her mandate.

“Dr. Adagba also highlighted some of her accomplishments since assumption of office which included infrastructural improvements such as construction of the  Executive Chairman’s office complex, drilling of borehole for clean water at the Board, landscaping and interlocking of the premises, and renovations of seven office blocks at the Board Headquarters.”

She noted the establishment and equipping of a Digital Resource Centre with 50 Computers.
