Chrisland University has achieved a significant milestone with the full accreditation of 11 academic programs by the National Universities Commission (NUC). This accomplishment was announced by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola on June 11, 2024, following the results of the November/December 2023 accreditation exercise.

The fully accredited programs span across various colleges within the university:

College of Arts, Management, and Social Sciences:

  • Accounting
  • Business Administration
  • Criminology and Security Studies
  • Economics
  • Political Science
  • Psychology

College of Natural and Applied Sciences:

  • Computer Science
  • Biochemistry
  • Microbiology
  • Molecular Biology
  • Biotechnology

College of Basic Medical Sciences:

  • Public Health

Prof. Babalola attributed this success to the university’s unwavering commitment to quality and academic excellence. She expressed her gratitude to the Board of Trustees, led by High Chief Dr. Winifred Awosika OON, for their financial support, and the Governing Council, chaired by Prof. Ayodeji Olukoju, FNAL, for their leadership. She also acknowledged the dedication and contributions of the university's staff and students.

In her closing remarks, Prof. Babalola reaffirmed Chrisland University's dedication to maintaining high standards and providing value-added education. She credited the university's success to divine favor and expressed optimism for the future.
