COOU Vice-Chancellor Approves Appointment of Directors, Coordinators, and Unit Heads for 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, has approved the appointment and reappointment of Directors, Coordinators, Deputy Directors, Deputy Coordinators, Unit Heads, and Officers for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, has approved the appointment and reappointment of Directors, Coordinators, Deputy Directors, Deputy Coordinators, Unit Heads, and Officers for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The announcement, released as Batch Two of the appointments, covers key leadership positions across various directorates, units, and offices of the University. The appointments are scheduled to take effect from Monday, January 5, 2026.
Professor Omenugha expressed appreciation to the outgoing Directors, Coordinators, Deputy Directors, Deputy Coordinators, Unit Heads, and Officers for their dedicated service and contributions to the growth and development of the University during the 2024/2025 academic session.
As part of the new leadership framework, all appointed officials are required to submit a comprehensive proposal outlining their mission and vision for their respective directorates, units, or offices for the 2025/2026 academic session. The submission must also include a detailed funding and sustainability plan and is to be forwarded to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor within two weeks from the date of the announcement.
The University Management has expressed confidence in the capacity of the newly appointed and reappointed officials to deliver effectively in their roles and advance the institution’s strategic goals.
