The David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, Uburu, Ebonyi State, has taken disciplinary action against eight students for misconduct and indiscipline, while simultaneously matriculating 800 students during its 3rd matriculation ceremony.

The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Jesse Uneke, made this announcement during the matriculation ceremony held at the University campus. He disclosed that the Senate of the University had approved disciplinary measures against a total of 31 students, with eight students facing expulsion for serious misconduct.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including the Registrar, Bursar, Librarian, deputy Provost, and Dean of Faculties. Two matriculants, Mr. Jeremiah Nnaji and Miss Chinasa Okeke, expressed their appreciation for the event, highlighting its significance in their pursuit of higher education.
