EKSU Alumni Association Constitutes Two Strategic Committees to Advance University Development
The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association Global Executive Council has announced the formation of two key committees aimed at strengthening the University’s digital ecosystem and improving access to legal education for its graduates.
The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association Global Executive Council has announced the formation of two key committees aimed at strengthening the University’s digital ecosystem and improving access to legal education for its graduates.
The decision was ratified following deliberations of the Global Executive Council and approved by the Global President, who emphasized the committees’ roles in driving strategic institutional growth.
Digital Transformation Committee
To advance EKSU’s goal of building a sustainable digital environment, a 10-member Digital Transformation Committee has been inaugurated to design and implement a comprehensive Digital Transformation Action Plan. The plan will guide the integration of digital solutions in academic delivery, research, administration, and data management.
The initiative is being undertaken in collaboration with Dr. Vincent Olatunji, Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), and Jidaw Systems, represented by Mr. Jide Awe, who will serve as the technical consultant.

- Mr. Tope Ogunleye – Head, Directorate of ICT
- Mrs. M. Yerokun – Head, Department of Computer Science
- Dr. A. I. Fasiku – Head, Department of Computer Engineering
- Dr. Tobi Adeuyi
The Committee’s operations will be jointly coordinated by Dr. Vincent Olatunji, the Global President, and the Vice Chancellor, in close collaboration with the appointed consultant.
Legal Education Engagement Committee
To address the limited admission quota available to EKSU law graduates at the Nigerian Law School, a 5-member Legal Education Engagement Committee has also been constituted to engage with the Council of Legal Education (CLE) on behalf of the University.
The Committee is tasked with negotiating an increase in EKSU’s quota allocation to ensure fair access for graduates and to strengthen the University’s representation within Nigeria’s legal education framework.
Members of the Committee include:

The Committee will report directly to the Global President.
